Westinghouse 55″ 4K UHD Smart TV WE55UDT108 reviews MIA

By Alan Ng - Nov 7, 2017

Westinghouse TV are always massively popular during the holiday sales and we have the first details to bring you now exclusively on the new Westinghouse 55″ 4K UHD Smart TV, model number WE55UDT108 which is only sold at Target in the USA.

This model is something of an enigma though as there are hardly any details about it anywhere online which is frustrating when you just want to know as much as possible before you consider a purchase at the end of the month.

What we do know about it so far, is that the specs will include a 55-inch display with an ultra 4k resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. It will have 3 HDMI ports, 4K UHD upscaling and full Smart TV capability with streaming apps such as Netflix, Vudu, Pandora and YouTube on board.

Unfortunately though, everything else is a complete mystery about it. We know that the price of the Westinghouse WE55UDT108 is $399.99 at full retail price but there are currently no reviews online for it whatsoever meaning those buying are going to be making a ‘blind’ purchase. In other words, at this time there is no confirmation that the Westinghouse 55″ 4K UHD Smart TV WE55UDT108 has HDR so be warned about this, as it could be a deal breaker for some of you.

On top of this, Westinghouse do not even have it listed on their own website so you can’t locate official tech specs or anything like that as they simply don’t exist at the time of writing.

We have however located the Westinghouse WE55UDT108 manual in PDF format for you to read here if you want some extra details, but let us know your thoughts on this model below and if you have purchased a Westinghouse 4K TV in the past with good reviews to report so far.

anyone know if the hdmi 2.0 ports are hdcp2.2 compliant?

I also purchased mine on Black Friday at Target, there was one one left for $249.99. since they wanted $300 to repair my 50″ of 12 years I jumped at it and so far am really pleased. I have not tried all the bell & whistles yet but thinking of adding a sound bar.

anyone find a good color setting guide… the colors are kind of bad on factory setting.

A guide won’t help as every LCD panel is different. What works for one person may not work for someone else. There are some test pattern images that you can find in various places online that you put in your photo account and then download to your TV and use them to make some of the necessary adjustments.

Just bought today on Black Friday. Could not pass up the deal for a 4k 55″ TV. Setup was super easy. Hooked up my sound bar and connected it to my wireless and all has been running great since. I like the smart functionality being able to quickly use youtube, netflix, pandora, and others. I watched some 4k content from Netflix and the quality is awesome. I am glad and feel this was a steal of a deal. There was only three left when I got mine so they were going fast.

Yes it is. I just bought it and is a great TV. it replaced my old 40″ 1080p tv and this was a major upgrade. The picture quality is great.
