Apple has just released their first update to iOS, with iOS 11.0.1 now available to download via notification or manually if you head to device settings.
Cutting straight to the chase though, if you thought iOS 11.0.1 fixes battery life problems it looks like you are going to be disappointed and will have to wait further for Apple to improve this.
There are a lot of iOS 11 users reporting battery life drain on their iPhone before the update and even after installing iOS 11.0.1 as of September 24, 2017.
Above is just a portion of the sentiment right now regarding iOS 11 and poor battery life which users always seem to complain about. Despite this, Apple’s latest notes only include the standard “bug fixes and improvements for your iPhone or iPad” and no specific mention of battery life fixes on iOS 11.0.1.
It doesn’t seem like a widespread issue yet, but how bad is battery life for you on iOS 11.0.1 since updating and are you using the iPhone 7 or iPhone 8, 8 Plus?
Let us know your experience so far with Apple’s new update and if you are in need of a big fix from the next iOS update which we’re guessing will be iOS 11.0.2.
