PSN down Jan 26 with status warning

By Alan Ng - Jan 26, 2017

We have a word of warning to all PS4 and PS3 gamers now. It looks like PSN is down on January 26. 2017 with some unforseen issues and certainly not scheduled maintenance.

We were getting complaints over on our PSN status checker page and a quick look on Sony’s official server status website for PSN confirms that there is indeed problems.

As you can imagine though, players are not happy especially with some having limited time to play during the day in Europe or happen to have some rare free time.

As you can see from the screenshot below, all of the PSN services are currently orange which we don’t see very often. Those playing games such as FIFA should not enter into any Ultimate Team matches as you are going to suffer a disconnection loss if you do.

Is this highly frustrating for you? We see that Sony has scheduled official PSN maintenance for Feb 2, but there is definitely nothing planned for today.

Leave a comment below if you can’t sign into PSN on January 26 so we know how serious this outage is today.
