Skyrim Nintendo Switch release date in 2017, port hopes

By Alan Ng - Jan 13, 2017

After some confusion, we are happy to see that Skyrim for Nintendo Switch is definitely coming and will release towards the end of 2017.

The dream of playing Skyrim while outside of the home is going to become a reality and it’s this reason why so many gamers will not mind playing through the game again.

For those that somehow still haven’t experienced Skyrim and plan on getting the Nintendo Switch, what an amazing opportunity this is for you to play one of the best games in history.

As you can see from the Tweet below, Bethesda can’t wait to get started with the game and although the exact Skyrim Nintendo Switch release date is unknown – it should be out sometime in Fall.

As far as we’re aware, this is going to be a direct port of the Skyrim Special Edition which landed on console and PC last year – we don’t believe there will be any major gameplay changes specific to the Nintendo Switch version.

If that changes though, we’ll be sure to let you know. How does Skyrim on the go sound to you – worth the purchase of the Nintendo Switch just for that?
