One of the most anticipated luxury cars coming to market is the 2017 Mercedes E-Class, and while we have been teased with a few spy shots here and there, the German carmaker has decided to reveal two official interior images, along with some in-depth details to go with it.
This has now led to a few 2017 Mercedes E-Class reviews of the in interior, where some auto websites dissect all the details to see just what it is Mercedes brings to the table, and in doing so is able to find out just how class leading this new model will be compared to its rivals.
AutoBlog seems to be more than happy with one of the all-new Mercedes E-Class interior features, and this is the 64 ambient light colors, which certainly allows you to choose the right light setting based on your personal preference. Some of you might say that it feels all too familiar in the cabin, although this is not a bad thing because it builds on what Mercedes already offers in some of their other models, although goes another step further.
However, AutoCar focusses on the new dual 12.3-inch displays first, as they are housed in a single unit and dominates the cabin. They discuss how the Comand infotainment software has, or shall we say will receive a huge upgrade so that it is fully configurable and has a choice of three themes, and these are Classic, Sport and Progressive. When you make your choice the instrument cluster is then altered to show different content.
We did suspect that some of you will worry about the long term, as they believe that using these larger touchscreen could pose an issue in the future. There is a fear that in a decade or so those screens could go blank and cause a huge issue for owners, but what are your thoughts?
