By Alan Ng - Nov 7, 2016

It’s a great day for Mass Effect fans now who own an Xbox One, but still have some of the old Xbox 360 games on disc lying around in storage. Microsoft has just revealed a lovely surprise, with instant Xbox One backwards compatibility update today adding support for both Mass Effect 2 and 3.

This is to coincide with the Mass Effect Andromeda trailer going live today. If you have the discs for Mass Effect 2 and 3 though, simply pop them into your Xbox One and you’ll now be able to play them at no extra cost.

If you are interested to see the full list of Xbox One backwards compatibility games, you can recap what is available here – the list is growing every single month and it’s pretty large now.
