PSN down suddenly Oct 26 after scheduled maintenance

By Alan Ng - Oct 26, 2016

We know that Sony had scheduled PSN maintenance for October 25, which was only due to last one hour. However, several hours later it appears that problems have arisen and at the time of writing PSN is down suddenly again, on October 26 with PS4 and PS3 users unable to sign in.

We’re not sure what the problem is right now, but we are aware that Sony’s engineers are trying to fix up the unexpected issues as we speak.

It appears to be a knock on effect from the earlier scheduled maintenance from 10.30PM PST to 11.30PM, but as you can see below all of Sony’s PlayStation services have been knocked offline.

We’ll try to keep you updated with PSN status here when we hear anything back from Sony, so in the meantime please leave a message below if you cannot sign in so we can determine which regions are affected.

Hopefully the PSN will be back up soon today, so just hang in there! What game were you trying to play?
