GoPro Hero 5 Black compatible with existing mounts

We have been waiting for official confirmation of the GoPro Hero5 Black for months now, and so it was finally nice to know that it’s now official. However, the Hero 5 was not the only action camera from GoPro to be announced, as there was also the Session model.

However, before we take a closer look, we know that you will be more worried about the GoPro Hero 5 Black compatibility in terms of current accessories. Well, the good news is that the new Hero5 Black and Session are compatible with existing mounts – great for those of you not wanting to further add to the bill.

Oh, that’s the other important thing isn’t it, the price of the new Hero 5 Black and Session models, and they are £349.99 and £249.99 respectively. As for their availability, the release date will be October 2, 2016.

There are some great new features with both the Hero5 Black and Session, full details of which can be found HERE, and in terms of differences, the former has a 2-inch touchscreen display and built-in GPS, whereas the latter does not. Both models come with an integrated waterproof casing, capable of shooting 4K video up to 30FPS, and the Black can shot 12-megapixel still images, whereas the Session can only manage 10MP photos.

One of the most asked questions is the GoPro Hero 5 battery life, and we can tell you that both the Black and Session models can achieve two hours, and go from dead to fully charged in just 45 minutes.

Some of you might be wondering about the GoPro Karma drone UK price, and we can tell you that it will cost you £999 – ouch.
