With just one day to go until WWDC 2016 kicks off, we are still seeing some websites maintaining that we could see a new MacBook Pro 2016 update announced, and again we need to point out that this is highly unlikely to happen. We just cannot see Apple revealing new hardware, although we have noticed that they are changing their release cycle a little – such as the iPad.
Even though the event has yet to start, WWDC 2016 coverage has already shifted into high gear due to the amount of rumors and suspected announcements we can expect. Ok, so we already know that Apple will show off what they have been working on with iOS 10, and the next version of their desktop OS, which will either be called OS X 10.12 or macOS – then again it’s also about time we saw version 11 instead.
Let’s get real for a moment, we’re less likely to see any new hardware announced tomorrow, although there is going to be a lot of talk about Siri, which we will talk about in another article. We could also hear of iMessage finally coming to Android – or so we hope anyway.
However, this has still not stopped those rumors, as people have still be discussing the possible 2016 MacBook Pro features that they believe will be revealed tomorrow.
Firstly there is that OLED bar concept along with USB-C ports and a larger trackpad. With just those features alone it will be enough for people to part with their money. There have also been more hints about Apple brining back the 17-inch version, but let’s face it – that size is long gone and we very much doubt will ever be coming back.
We could still be wrong and Apple could use tomorrow as a launch platform for the next MacBook Pro, although will make us wait a month or so until it’s ready to be released.
