Final Fantasy 15 PC gets best version technically Vs console

By Alan Ng - Apr 12, 2016

We have some more news on the Final Fantasy 15 PC release likelihood and again it is looking really promising. Not only that, but Square-Enix are now saying that a PC version would be developed with the idea of making it technically superior to consoles.

With Final Fantasy XV due out September 30, we have noticed that Square-Enix are now talking about the game in more detail.

It was only earlier this week that we heard about the PC version being open for ‘exploration’ after the console release, but now it looks like Square-Enix definitely wants to make it happen.

In a new interview, game director Hajime Tabata has said that he has a project in mind which would deliver a more ‘technical’ version of Final fantasy XV on PC.

Even better, Tabata has said that this version would allow them to incorporate things that were not possible on console to make the PC version more superior in terms of ‘quality and tech’.

You can check out more fantastic quotes in more detail over at Nova Crystallis if you want to hear more.

As a PC gamer, is this music to your ears on hearing that Square-Enix want to develop a more superior version on PC and do it justice as opposed to a direct port?

  • Minus One PS4 Sale

Haha. As opposed to PC players, I WAS going to buy this on PS4. However, I will listen to the dev and rip it on PC. Honestly, devs should not be allowed out of the basement. Name another company that positively says “the product we were going to make the most money out of is SH%T”?
Personally, I would have thought that guys who spend $1500 on video cards realise they can turn the graphics up. All this dev’c comments tell you is “DO NOT BUY THE PS4 VERSION”. And these fools need to sell 10 million copies….not going to happen now. This will be the “final” in the series….15 isn’t bad though. Every PC rip (including mine) is another sale they will not make. By urging people to go PC version instead of PS4, the devs have brought this on themselves. Especially when to enjoy all the bells and whistles that are in the PC version (and deliberately left out of the PS4 version) most people will need the latest video card. And one great way to save for your PC hardware is to rip PC games – especially from devs that put all their effort into an uber PC version and release cr&p on the consoles.
I won’t play much as I do not enjoy “desk based” gaming. However, I will rip it just to send a message. When the pirated numbers come in, hopefully guys like Tabata will be sacked and no longer able to ruin what was always a console game – specifically a PS4 game.
Yes, all the PC Douchebag Race get to laugh at us console gamers, and that is fine. Just that SE will be out of business within two years. Guaranteed. All about marketing messages. I don’t even need to play the game to realise it is mediocre – as the dev explicitly said the console version is poor.
