Sony recently dropped a major new PS4 firmware update for users this week, with the console now on 3.50. However we’re here to let you know that there’s a few PS4 3.50 update hidden features that you need to know about as well.

Fans are always keen to see if there are any undocumented changes not included on the official PS4 3.50 update notes and now we can confirm that there are a few hidden gems.

One of these is the return of music support through USB devices! As far as we’re aware, Sony made no mention of this prior to 3.50 going live but it’s definitely back so if you have files on a USB drive, you may just want to test it out.

Some other changes are the ability to disable on-screen notifications for screenshots, allowing you to take multiple screenshots without getting a pop-up each time.

There’s also Life From PlayStation improvements and support for 4TB hard drives which have been documented and verified by Reddit users in this thread here.

We’re sure many of you are going to appreciate this information, so let us know if you have spotted anything else that the community should know about.
