Best Fallout 4 mods with Stormtrooper download

By Alan Ng - Jan 11, 2016

If you have the PC version of Fallout 4 and are looking for the best new mods for Fallout 4 to download, we have a quick look now at one of the most popular edits we’ve seen.

By now, most of you will have seen Star Wars Force Awakens and are probably still very much in Star Wars mode as we all wait for Episode 8 to arrive.

In the meantime, you can now channel the inner Finn inside you and download the Fallout 4 Stormtrooper mod “Combat Armour Variants and Black bodyglove vault suit” brought to you by Stiptikspec.

We’re surprised there hasn’t been more downloads for this particular mod as it looks fantastic. You can grab it now for free by following the link above and it should keep you busy while other Star Wars mods are in development.

Console owners looking to get their hands on this will have to pray that it will be supported by the Creation Kit whenever Bethesda makes it available on Xbox One first within these few months.

First off, consoles will definitely NOT get this mod, at least through the official channel, due to licensing restrictions. I doubt Zenimax will authorize Bathesda to get permission directly from Disney, and I doubt Disney would allow it given that they already have Infinity and Battlefront out as indirect competing products.

Second off, I think that the mod it’s self looks gaudy. There is simply too much negative space, and it’s not at all faithful to the original Clone/Storm Trooper design, spare maybe the helm. This looks like the skimpified armour you would find in a generic MMO, but with a body glove underneath. I get that not much could be done about this without the Creation Kit, but if that’s the case then I feel that the mod author should have just waited. Then again the change in appearance can be used to claim that it is to prevent copyright infringement by appealing to Fair Use and Parody, but to be frank, this likely would not be upheld in a court of law (depending on the jurisdiction.)
