Fallout 4 1.3, 1.03 update patience for PC, PS4, Xbox One

By Alan Ng - Jan 6, 2016

It has been two months since Bethesda updated Fallout 4 if you take into account the beta releases on PC. We can already see that players are starting to get frustrated on the wait for the next Fallout 4 update.

This should be the Fallout 4 1.3 update for PC, or the Fallout 4 1.03 update on PS4 and Xbox One specifically.

In the last update, Bethesda offered some quest fixes and general memory and stability improvements. It wasn’t necessarily a major update for the game though, with Bethesda inevitably focusing on the first piece of Fallout 4 DLC that will be coming out this year.

Before Fallout 4 DLC is released though, do Bethesda need to offer up another round of bug fixes to keep players happy?

Over on the Steam community page for the game, many players are wondering why there has only been one Fallout 4 update issued in two months.

Some expected a lot more support after launch, with some even joking that Bethedsa don’t need to issue many updates as ‘the game is already so good’.

Let us know if you are also patiently waiting for a new Fallout 4 1.3 update on PC, PS4 or Xbox One and key changes that you want Bethesda to look at next.

Are you happy with the slow rollout of patches, or would you prefer more frequent releases?

I guess im lucky, i haven’t had a problem and i`ve already beat the game, loved it. But i wish they would come out with atleast a two player fallout or some kind of co-op mode also i feel like fallout 3 was an all around bigger game hopfully the DLC will change that, besides that it was great. Cant wait to see what the DLC has instore. I would like to add one more thing for being a next generation game i thought there would be some big wow factors, so far i feel a lack in that department. Only time will tell what Bethesda has in store for Fallout 4 hopefully that wow im looking for is on the way.

They need to make workshop mode better. When I scrap something I should be able to rebuild right away. Sometimes I will have to scrap 5 or 6 things to build 1 bed ect. Also I have gotten myself into relationships with both Piper and Cait..awkward.

I just want the de luca quest line to be fixed

Bathesda better roll a good batch of fixes in v1.3. This game is plague with bugs and nowhere close to being acceptable as a commercial release.
    – Dumb NPC AI won’t get out of built structures, doors.
    – Structure power wires permanently stuck in mid-air.
    – Shadow randomly screwing up.
    – Huge frame drop in city area. (High-end rig)

my god yes they BETTER fix the maccreaddy god mode perk, i quit playing until they do and i’m going through severe fallout withdrawals

They need to fix bugs. I have the head shot perk bug whereby every VATS headshot hits no matter how far away i am

I’ve got the head crippled perception debuff bug so now my perception is stuck at basically nothing and my character literally doesn’t speak anymore. I can talk to people and stuff, but nothing audible comes out of my character anymore so I miss an entire side to all conversations.

So I’m really hoping that’s addressed in the next patch since I’d rather not start over and lose all of my progress.

I eagerly await some kind of update because I can’t finish Side Quests: The Big Dig, and The Silver Shroud due to glitches. There’s nothing like spending a lot of time on side quests to help level up and right when you get to the end of it, it won’t allow the final step to complete it. Also, the graphics are glitchy
