New Bentley Continental, Flying Spur Mulliner interior options

Bentley is to offer up a new choice of interior options for their Continental and Flying Spur models. What makes this so special is that Bentley is to make use of new and rare materials, while keeping things highly luxurious.

Bentley Motors is to use their bespoke coach-building division, Milliner to bring a new level of luxury to the Continental and Flying Spur models. They are to make use of state-of-the-art stone veneer technology, but what is more special is how its a natural product that has taken more than 200 million years to form. This did remind us of a program we recently watched about new cars, as people assume their vehicles are new, when in fact they have been billions of years in the making, as all the metals and other materials used were created by exploding suns.

Anyway, back to the new interiors for the Bentley Continental and Flying Spur; this will have slate and quartzite stone, most of which were hand-sourced from quarries in locations in India, such as Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. The sections used were split and then cured with fibre and a bespoke resin to give it that bespoke look.

The finish is very light and translucent because the veneers measure just 0.1mm thick, which allows them to show off their wonderful grain and for the occupants to just gaze it the elegance.

There are a choice of four different colors, and these are Galaxy, Autumn White, Terra Red and Copper. However, we do not have a price yet of these new options, and so you will need to visit your Bentley dealer for more details.
