2016 SsangYong Truismo 2.2 now available in UK

Four new 2016 SsangYong Truismo 2.2 models are now available to buy in the UK, and these variants are the 2.2 SE, EX, EX Automatic and the ELX 4×4 Automatic. The prices for these are £18,995, £20,995, £22,495 and £24,995 respectively. The new diesel engine is rated Euro 6, and comes with major enhancements to help improve performance and fuel economy thanks to its emissions being reduced.

Other noticeable 2016 SsangYong Truismo features that need to be highlighted are its new 7-speed automatic transmission that is made by Mercedes-Benz, enough room in the cabin for up to 7 adults, as well as luggage space, and it comes with 5 years warranty, with no limit on milage.

Going back to that new e-XDi220 diesel engine, it is able to achieve 39.2 mpg, which is 2 miles per gallon better than its predecessor, and its CO2 emissions has gone from 199g/k to 189g/km, which is pretty good for a 4×2 manual transmission model.

We suspect that sales of the 2016 will be very good seeing as though the older model had seen a sales increase of 46 percent over the past year.

It’s not just the engine that has been refined, as the 2016 SsangYong Truismo interior has also. The cabin now has a multi-role flexibility, which means it comes with increased comfort and an interior level that you would expect from a refined luxury saloon.

The ride and handling has also been greatly improved, which is in part thanks to its double wishbone front suspension, along with the rear independent multi-link suspension. The end result is a vehicle that offers the same sort of ride comfort that you get from a saloon.

You can either visit a SsangYong dealer to book a test drive, or visit the website for full details on the new Truismo.
