2016 Scion FR-S improvements offsets price woe

If you were thinking of purchasing the new 2016 Scion FR-S, then you had best be prepared to spend a few extra dollars, seeing as though there has been a price increase. Scion said that it had to bump the price of the new model because of the improvements made, and when you look at those changes you can start to understand the reasoning.

The 2016 Scion FR-S improvements start with a much-improved interior to make it a far more enjoyable place to be while driving. The standard equipment has also been upgraded, although Scion has not detailed just what those are.

However, we can tell you that the 2016 FR-S will come with a far better audio interface, which will come with a 7-inch touchscreen and a rear-view reversing camera to aid parking.

There are to be two exterior finishes, these are the Oceanic in blue and Ablaze in red.

Looking on the Scion website we can see the price for the manual has increased to $25,305 and the automatic transmission will now be $26,405. The price increase is only $405 plus $770 destination charge, which is not too bad when you consider those improvements.
