The lack of 2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class facelift images means that we never knew what to expect from the coming changes, but now a few leaked images gives us a far better understanding of just what to expect.
With this planned update still in its early stages, the images that Autocar were able to take of the revised Mercedes-Benz S-Class means that some of the exterior changes that we see could be altered before its eventual release.
Thanks to Autocar we can see that while only minor, the changes are just enough to make Mercedes’s flagship saloon look different, one of which is the new LED headlight cluster design. However, the bigger changes will be to its interior, and there was also a spy shot of that — although not as clear.
A quick look shows the 2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class interior changes to be a wider, frameless dual-screen, with the most up-to-date Mercedes Command infotainment software, and a thicker three-spoke steering wheel to make it feel more luxurious over the current two-spoke design.
As for engines changes; Mercedes is expected to stick with the same options, although they could have very slight refinements to make them offer increased fuel economy.
