Well here is something you don’t see every day. It looks like Sony are once again having problems with PSN down on November 28.
Hours ago, we were first to report on problems occurring on Black Friday which then became a widespread outage on Black Friday.
Now after a brief restoration we can see that the PlayStation Network servers are down again with Sony’s official PSN server status checker showing a complete blackout across all services.
Hopefully this latest outage will not last as long as the first, but we’ll keep you updated nevertheless. Has PSN just gone down for you as well for the second time on Friday evening / Saturday morning?
Sony will also give an explanation as to why servers were down for several hours at a single time during one of the busiest periods of the year.
Update: It looks like service is now slowing coming back up. The status website now displays a green bar under Gaming and Social so you should now be able to sign into PSN again. Let us know if you continue to have problems!
Update 2: And it’s down again. Now you may see a PSN error code CE-34861-2 when trying to sign in to PSN on November 28. As always, we’ll keep you updated – let us know if you are getting the same error.
