Traditionally we see Cyber Monday arrive after Thanksgiving and Black Friday, but this isn’t the case for the Sears deals in Canada for 2015. While the sales that started this weekend might not rival those in the United States, Canada is receiving some early temptations to part with money by heading online or in-store at Sears.
Currently we are seeing Sears Canada drop prices of mattresses in half, major appliances have seen a quarter of their retail price slashed, and fitness equipment like treadmills have up to 35 percent of the price cut. This is pretty good, but again not like the expected doorbusters at Sears USA in late November, 2015.
Heading to the sears.ca homepage, as seen by the screenshot below, reveals their current marketing push along with a second round of “Cyber Monday” 2015 discounts. Sears promise these will be “coming your way tomorrow“, although what these deals might be is yet to be seen and if they will be bigger than those seen between Oct 8-12.
The Sears product range includes plenty of kitchen appliances and home decor, as well as toys, baby goods, and clothing. In terms of technology, you can also purchase Android tablets, headphones, video games, cameras, and gadgets. Sadly, the range of these tech items is pretty limited and nothing like that seen at Walmart and Best Buy.
Will you be taking advantage of the so-called “Cyber Monday” offering at Sears tomorrow? Or, do you see this as a weak attempt to take your hard-earned money? Personally, we believe consumers are more clued-up with what counts as a good deal this year and can quickly check to see if the said discount, is something special with a quick Google search or by visiting a favored comparison shopping engine. Keep an eye on Product Reviews Black Friday pages, as we will be growing this section throughout this and next month for the bigger USA offering.
