Martial and Lewandowski in FUT 16 TOTW 2 shocks

Man of the moment Anthony Martial has scored another goal, his fourth goal in as many games. As a result, EA has had no choice but to include him in the TOTW Week 2 lineup with a brand new FIFA 16 FUT card.

For a player that had a 69 rating on FIFA 15, you now have one week to get a lovely 79 Martial IF on FIFA 16.

This includes stats such as 86 for Pace, 81 for Dribble and 78 for shooting. We can see that some players have already bought this card out of sheer desperation although there doesn’t appear to be many players getting Martial in a pack outright.

While this was a nice entry to TOTW, the big shock of course is the fact that why there is no Lewandowski in TOTW 2 this week.

The Bayern Munich striker scored an amazing 5 goals in 9 minutes mid week, breaking several records in the process and leading to fans expecting a Record Breaker Lewandowski card for FUT 16.

EA previously said though that they wouldn’t be issuing in-form cards for Tuesday games, but even still this seems like a massive injustice given the performance.

We have seen Record Breaker cards handed out for much less and hopefully EA plans to make amends for next week. Was it simply a timing issue that they had no time to put this card into the database?

Let us know your thoughts on the TOTW 2 team lineup for this week and if you agree that Lewandowski should have been there – regardless of timing.
