By Daniel Chubb - Jun 15, 2015

Over the weekend Samsung confirmed its Galaxy Tab PRO Series will receive the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update early Q3, so likely in July 2015. This follows the Galaxy Note PRO 12.2 receiving the same Lollipop mobile software, although the report over the weekend is for Galaxy Tab PRO 12.2, 10.1 and 8.4.

Currently, the update is in final testing and we expect the download to rollout next month and at the latest very early in August, if there’s any delays. Dear friends, I live and work in Ethiopia and look forward to see Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 receive its Android 5.0.2 Lillipop update even in July. This tablet is just GREAT. I love it.

I have the wifi tab pro 8.4 in USA. It really needs lollipop. I’ve found out that the tab s isn’t the only tablet that allows you to control your phone threw the tablet. Side sync works perfectly fine for my tab pro 8.4 and my galaxy s6 edge. I love the tab pro but I will be extremely disappointed if samsung abondons it with the new software update promises.
