The Witcher 3 free DLC 1 for Horse Armor, Geralt Beard

By Alan Ng - May 19, 2015

It gets better and better for The Witcher 3 owners this week after the launch. Hours after CD Projekt Red deployed some improvements in a Day One patch, we can now confirm that two pieces of free The Witcher 3 DLC are already available to download.

In case you have forgotten, the developer has defied the so-called ‘greedy’ nature of the industry by offering no fewer than 16 pieces of free DLC for the game after launch.

Now, the first two pieces are available and they are the Temerian Armor Set and the Beard and Hairstyle Set DLC for The Witcher 3.

Both are absolutely free to download and you’ll find them on the respective Marketplaces now. With the Temerian Armor Set you’ll not only be able to give Geralt a flashy makeover, but also your trusty companion too with a new set of Horse Armor.

The Beard and Hairstyle set is self explanatory, with CD Projekt Red catering to those who love to see their favorite protagonist with a designer beard.

Grab them now and let us know what you think. We’ll keep you updated once we hear news on the other pieces of free DLC for the game.

Lovely gesture to offer these for free – how many other developers right now would give away 16 pieces of DLC for free, perhaps Rockstar but who else?
