PSN sign in, Destiny and 2K servers down right now

By Daniel Chubb - May 17, 2015

Sony PS4 and PS3 owners are complaining about a number of problems getting online today, May 17, as the PSN status page reports the sign-in is down and PlayStation Store has limited access. If you try to browse the PS Store you will run into issues, in fact most games won’t be playable thanks to not being able to sign into PSN right now.

The company has responded to the problems through their PSN status page, which basically explains there’s “issues related to signing in or creating an account on PlayStation Network”. This report came on Sunday, May 17th 2015 at 4 am PDT. There had been a previous update about the problems that only listed issues with browsing the store, although this update was quickly expanded just 15 minutes later to include wider problems.

Are you not able to connect to Destiny servers or is NBA 2K15 down right now? If so, what city and country are you located in when trying to connect? From what we can tell, it looks like the outage is global with gamers reporting they cannot sign into PSN accounts in the UK and United States.

This story is developing and we will bring you updates, as Sony releases more information on a fix. You can share your problems below on this page, or visit our dedicated PSN or Destiny server issue pages.
