Apple has just launched a new service for iTunes Connect developers that’s called App Analytics, although it’s currently in beta form while the service is tested by devs and feedback is given. This is currently available to every developer and enables some detailed insight into the performance of apps.
The good news is pricing, as there is none thanks to App Analytics beta for Apple iTunes Connect being totally free. The main features include the ability to see how many customers are visiting app pages at the official App Store, gain stats on website referrals and see the top refers, you can also create custom campaign links now with App Analytics and study marketing campaign success.
Another great feature is to see how frequently users are opening your apps over a period of time. Knowing the amount of installs has already been welcomed in iTunes Direct, but this didn’t offer the insight really needed about how often your iPhone and iPad apps are getting used. Now with Apple’s App Analytics beta, you will get this information.
