We have some vital information for those that are planning to pre-order and pick up The Witcher 3, ready in time for the big launch in May.
The game is shaping up to be one of the potential best sellers of 2015 and graphically, it could be a title that picks up many awards towards the end of the year.
The game doesn’t launch until May 19, but we can see that the Witcher 3 pre-load is already live for those who have pre-ordered the Xbox One version.
As far as we’re aware, the Witcher 3 pre-load on PS4 and Steam isn’t live yet, but hopefully CD Projekt Red won’t keep users waiting much longer.
Along with the confirmation of the Xbox Live pre-load, we can tell you that the game itself will be unlocked at 1am CET on May 19.
Here’s the important part: For those on Pacific Time that translates to 5pm on Sunday afternoon, 8pm on EST time and exactly midnight for those in the UK.
It means that those in the US should be able to play the game on Sunday which is interesting. Once we have news of the Witcher 3 pre-load on PC and PS4, we’ll update this – but it’s live right now on Xbox.
Will you be pre-ordering the game, or will you wait until the reviews are out first?
