We have a quick heads-up for those of you who have just installed PS4 2.50. The big feature is Suspend / Resume, but we are noticing that some of you are actually asking us how to turn on Suspend/Resume on PS4 after 2.50.
This is strange to us as the feature was automatically turned on as soon as we installed the firmware. However, some of you have told us that you have seen something different and in your settings, you have to manually turn it on.
Either way, to turn on Suspend mode on PS4, simply go to PS4 Power Save settings, then to Set Functions Available in Rest Mode.
From there, you’ll see a new option which reads Keep Application Suspended. This is the one that you need to check if it isn’t already.
It’s fairly important, as if it isn’t turned on by default and you presume that it is – you are obviously going to lose your game progress once you put your PS4 into Rest Mode.
Again this is just a heads-up. Our system had Suspend checked by default, but you may want to check your settings just in case!
Let us know if this helped you out, or if we’re stating the obvious.
