Carrot was a pretty good app in helping you to get fit thanks to the unique way in making sure you stuck to your plans. There is now a new version called Carrot Hunger and is perfect timing after piling on the pounds following a hectic festive season. However, be warned because if you do not stick to things, you will feel the wrath of the app – it’s a bit like how Katie Hopkins would react.
This app allows you to track the food you eat; in what is pretty much a calorie counter with an acid tongue. People always find it hard to stick to a diet and usually fail within days, but the Carrot Hunger app helps you by offering incentives to make you stick at it.
However, if you falter you will be punished for it in different ways, so the best bet is just not to indulge. What we like about the app is how it has a huge database on a range of different foods, although if it does not have the information, then all you need to do is use the barcode reader for the information to be displayed.
Once you have entered the food you have eaten it will then tell you how you need to burn off those calories. If you do go to the fridge too many times and are going over your calorie count, then the app will shout at you and make you workout harder than usual.
