2015 Nexus 7 specs pondered if released

ASUS seemed to have upset a lot of loyal customers back in 2014 when it never released a 3rd-generation Nexus 7, and so there are hopes that the company could rectify that by updating the tablet this year instead. However, we have to wonder if there is truly a place for a new model and if so then would it be as popular as the 2013 edition?

Wanted 2015 Nexus 7 specs — We have pondered over many comments made by Product-reviews readers and now have a few suggestions as to what ASUS could do if it was to bring the 7-inch Android tablet back this year.

A faster processor is obviously a must to help bring it up to spec, as will be improved cameras, especially the front-facing one. There is nothing wrong with the size of the screen, as it is perfect for so many Android tablet users, although an increase in resolution is a must.

Sticking with the display, a smaller bezel would help a lot, but as long as ASUS does not go with a more square aspect ratio like many other Android tablets on the market.

Improvements to the touchscreen is a must, as there are times when it is unable to register inputs, no matter how many software updates it has had. Several of our readers said the Nexus 7 has to be one of the best Nexus tablets, and would love to see a new model for 2015, although the addition of new front-facing speakers would be very welcome.

These are just some ideas, but what would you change with the current Nexus 7, if ASUS were to give consumers what they want for 2015?
