2015 Mercedes C63 AMG review of latest images

We have already seen an array of new cars at the Geneva Auto Show, and more planned at New York next month, it is certainly the season for car lovers. However, if you are awaiting the launch of the 2015 Mercedes C63 AMG, then you will have to be patient because you have to wait until November, which is the month of the LA Motor Show.

Thankfully, you don’t have to wait that long to see just what the 2015 Mercedes C63 AMG will look like because several images of the vehicle were already leaked, and eight more have just been made available thanks to Autocar.

From these latest images they have been able to offer us a 2015 Mercedes C63 AMG review of its design so far, along with what we know about its expected specs and features, such as its engine and performance.

2015 Mercedes C63 AMG

The model that you see in the images is the 2015 Mercedes C63 AMG saloon, but there are plans for a coupé, estate and convertible sometime in 2016.

Autocar explains how the air intakes around the vehicle can now be seen far more clearly, unlike other test mules we have seen in the past. You will notice right away that the new C63 AMG now has a sportier look, thanks to these new air intakes; redesigned rear bumper and an amazing looking quadruple exhaust system.

As for the engine, we can tell you that the C63 AMG saloon will come with a 4.0-litre V8 engine with a twin-turbo pushing out around 500 horsepower.

To help further improve performance is a forced induction system all of which will be transferred to the rear wheels. It would be great to see an all-wheel drive version because we have seen many times with cars like these how they can destroy the rear tires because that amount of torque can be too much for two wheels to handle.
