Amazon has decided to update its Kindle Paperwhite once again, so it will soon offer a 3rd generation model. Its release will be from June 30, 2015, and so this will give you enough time to compare the Kindle Paperwhite 2 to the 3 to see if you should bother to upgrade.
We personally believe if you have the current model and there is nothing wrong with it, then you should save your money. However, if you have the 1st generation model and were thinking of an upgrade, then you might want to hold out until the end of the month.
The new model now comes with the same 300 pixels-per-inch as the Voyage, so double the sharpness as the current Paperwhite. That is not the best bit either, as the all-new Kindle Paperwhite WiF only price will be $119 and the Wi-Fi and 3G version will set you back $189 once released.
A review of the 2015 Kindle Paperwhite 3rd generation specs on the Amazon website shows just what improvements have been made to the features. We already mentioned that higher resolution, there is now the exclusive Bookerly font to help reduce eyestrain, and hyphenation and improved spacing.
The updates to the specs are not huge and more of a minor bump, but for the same price as the outgoing model, how can you really complain. For more details and a video overview visit Amazon.
