Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes 1.03 update live on PS4

By Daniel Chubb - Dec 16, 2014

There’s a new Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes update just gone live on PS4 at version 1.03. In most cases, the patch will download automatically and its full notes can be found by checking the history by clicking the relevant PS4 icon.

This Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes 1.03 update has a size of 331.6MB and you can read the full notes below this article. There isn’t much to look at though, as you can see the changelog just lists “Russian Translations Fixed”.

It’s not clear if anything else has been changed within this MGS: Ground Zeroes patch, but if that’s the case then Kojima Productions is keeping silent on the finer details. If you do notice anything more than the Russian translations fix, then please leave details below.

    Can you even English?

PW had plenty of story, just not hours of cutscenes which by MGS4 was getting hard to defend. If you’re feeling nostalgic, go back and play the old ones and get over yourself

i think MGS games are about to be as GTA so this is the bad point because MGS is not GTA perhaps Kojima Productions staff want more cash more sales they care about money they forget that the game is stealth game and need a close world not open world like GTA .the game MGS is going to be nosense because i played MGS PW the story was nothing There are lot of missions with no porpose i liked one piece story like MGS solid snake or metal gear solid 3 subsistence

  • This update is a version 2 of the 1.02 update. Basically, you are redownloading 1.02 update with updates russian translations. Nothing more.

I had a quick play-through soon as I downloaded the patch, I didn’t notice anything new, however, I’ll be investigating into this further later on tonight, something ain’t right, over 300mb for translations? No way.
It could be that feature that Kojima was talking about that somehow links The Phantom Pain to Ground Zeroes, those who played Ground Zeroes can revisit Camp Omega in The Phantom Pain and this feature is there, its an innovative feature/very unique/never been done before apparently but that’s all the details we were given.

    Something is going on…
    How it’s possible 331MB of subtitles ?

Kojima is at it again…. I suspect.
