Suros Regime Nerf review after Destiny patch 1.1

By Alan Ng - Dec 2, 2014

Earlier on we spoke about the big changes that Bungie made to the Vex Mythoclast fusion rifle after the Destiny Patch 1.1 that went live hours ago. Now we wanted to talk about the other big change that everyone is talking about at the moment – a Suros Regime nerf which some feel was uncalled for.

To quickly recap on Destiny’s 1.1 patch notes in relation to the Suros Regime Exotic Auto Rifle, the developer revealed that they had actually reduced the total damage at the end of the Suros Regime’s mag.

On top of that, Bungie has also tweaked the rifle to be ‘more in line’ with that of the Glass Half Full perk on Legendary Auto Rifles.

As a result, you may not notice the bonus damage any more during the bottom half of the clip, but thankfully the Suros Regime still retains it’s chance to return health when dealing damage.

What are you thinking about the Suros Regime though – is it still worth a place on your best Exotic weapons list? We have included a collection of videos below, from players who have already discussed the Suros Regime nerf since the patch.

Interestingly, we also detect a noticeable difference on the actual sound the Suros Regime makes from firing bullets whilst aiming, compared to the previous patch – a video we’ve added shows you an example of this.

Give us your own Suros Regime review for Destiny after patch 1.1. Are you happy with the changes to this Exotic or very unhappy? After all, most of you paid a good 23 strange coins to obtain it from Xur.

Glad I don’t play pvp since I just got this yesterday in the nightfall

Completley ruined a gun that was hard worked for. The gun is deffinetly more “in line” with the rest of the ARs because it is no longer better than most legendaries.
