It may seem a strange time of the year to announce a new bike, but at least you have plenty of time to prepare for the release of the BMW S 1000 XR, as its release date is due in the second quarter of 2015. We cannot say for certain if this availability will be for the EU only, or if this also applies to North America as well, but we should know more by early next year.
Before we take a look at the all important specs and features, we know that many of you will be eager to know the BMW S 1000 XR price, but BMW Motorrad has yet to tell us how much this sports-tourer will cost, although they did offer a clue by saying it will be comparable to its Italian rival. This is the fourth model from the new straight-four-cylinder engine motorcycle lineup and is not only tantalizing in looks, but innovative in terms of its technology.
We will go over some of the BMW S 1000 XR specs, although you can get a far greater insight by watching the video below. You not only get to learn about what helps make this bike tick, but also learn what colors it will be available in.
