We are continuing to see demands for a working Whatsapp for iPad without jailbreak guide, considering that traditionally Whatsapp has been restricted to phone use. Previously, the methods we have seen were for iOS 7 and older versions of Whatsapp only, but now we’ve spotted one guide in particular that most of you should find useful on iOS 8.
Whatsapp has obviously become a daily part of many user’s lives and most will happily admit that they cannot live without it any more. The ability to send and receive Whatsapp messages on a tablet has been a luxury feature that has so far eluded most, due the fact that Whatsapp needs a phone number to operate.
You’ll be pleased to here that it is possible though, on Apple’s latest iOS 8 software as well. If you follow the excellent guide that the guys over at 9to5Mac have compiled, you will have it working in no time.
The trick is to use the software SynciOS, which lets you manage iOS apps between PC and iPad. You’ll also need a PC running iTunes, as well as the latest version of Whatsapp from 2.11.8 and onwards.
The guide is a little old, but providing you read through it and follow the steps with Whatsapp 2.11.8, it will work – Whatsapp is needed as using this method on iOS 8 without the latest version of Whatsapp will result in a crash.
You’ll soon be smiling once you get it to work though, as receiving Whatsapp messages on tablet without needing to go through the jailbreak process is a nice feature indeed.
Try it out for yourself and let us know if it worked for you, or if you had any problems.
