With just days to go until the 2014 Paris Motor Show opens its doors for the press days first, we thought we would have a little remainder of the concept cars that have been previewed so far. While it is nice to see a preview of cars coming in 2015 and beyond, it is great to see what car makers have planned over the next several years.
If you were to go back a few years, such concept cars were a little out there, and so stood no chance of making it to production, but times have changed and these conceptual vehicles are far more likely to reach the public. Many of the top car manufacturers will be at the Paris Motor Show this year to tease us with their future designs, and we have picked a handful of what excites us the most.
The Next generation Honda Civic Type R concept has been teasing us for a while now, although only in small doses, and now Honda is set to tease us yet again with another version of this vehicle. This is going to be similar to the first concept, although it will come with a new paint job.
Kia will be on hand to showcase its Optima T-Hybrid concept, which you can see a video of embedded below. This model will make use of the new diesel hybrid powertrain, which the company presented at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.
The Infiniti Q80 Inspiration concept will add a bit of style to the proceedings in Paris, although this is one of those models that stands less chance of making it to production in its current conceptual form. The Inspiration has taking a few styling features from the Porsche Panamera and Audi A7, although you can see that it has Infiniti running through its veins.
There are far more concept car previews ahead of the Paris Motor Show, and a quick search in Google will give you an idea of just how many we can expect to see.
