Bayonetta 2 lost chance on PS4, Xbox One

With Bayonetta 2 set to release exclusively on Wii U next month, Nintendo and Platinum Games have finally started to show more of the game. We have a fantastic new Bayonetta 2 gameplay trailer to show you, which serves as yet another reminder on why it’s a blow for PS4 and Xbox One owners.

It almost seems a distant memory now when Bayonetta 2, to the surprise of the watching gaming world was announced as a Nintendo Wii U exclusive during a routine Nintendo Direct event.

This was met with obvious shock considering that Bayonetta had released on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2010 and in the coming weeks, we just know the pain is going to be flowing back for some.

The reality is though, it’s a massive coup for Nintendo to pull it off and now we can show you the latest build of the game. Nintendo has released a 4 minute trailer of Bayonetta 2 and it shows some great gameplay for those that are yet to fully see what the game is about.

For a Wii U game, the graphics are looking really impressive and it’s a case of a missed opportunity for Sony and Microsoft we feel. On the hand, it is rather refreshing to see Nintendo come out with a victory for once, especially after a year of very harsh treatment from publishers with regards to third-party game development on Wii U when many developers skipped their platform.

Are you still unhappy that Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive, or happy that Nintendo fans can enjoy this game all to themselves after losing out on so many other games?
