Bayonetta 2 lost chance on PS4, Xbox One

By Alan Ng - Sep 8, 2014

With Bayonetta 2 set to release exclusively on Wii U next month, Nintendo and Platinum Games have finally started to show more of the game. We have a fantastic new Bayonetta 2 gameplay trailer to show you, which serves as yet another reminder on why it’s a blow for PS4 and Xbox One owners.

It almost seems a distant memory now when Bayonetta 2, to the surprise of the watching gaming world was announced as a Nintendo Wii U exclusive during a routine Nintendo Direct event.

This was met with obvious shock considering that Bayonetta had released on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2010 and in the coming weeks, we just know the pain is going to be flowing back for some.

The reality is though, it’s a massive coup for Nintendo to pull it off and now we can show you the latest build of the game. Nintendo has released a 4 minute trailer of Bayonetta 2 and it shows some great gameplay for those that are yet to fully see what the game is about.

For a Wii U game, the graphics are looking really impressive and it’s a case of a missed opportunity for Sony and Microsoft we feel. On the hand, it is rather refreshing to see Nintendo come out with a victory for once, especially after a year of very harsh treatment from publishers with regards to third-party game development on Wii U when many developers skipped their platform.

Are you still unhappy that Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive, or happy that Nintendo fans can enjoy this game all to themselves after losing out on so many other games?

Happy sales. Or well lack of them. rofl. Hope P* is satisfied with making game for a bunch of ungrateful kids who don’t give a damn about their game in the first place.

well i hope the pain is going to be flowing back real good. i hope it rubs like an abrasive sandpaper on their baby skins.

bayonetta 2 port begging is probably the worst the industry have seen. those 12 years olds spunkgargleweewee bro dudes just seem to blaim everything they could point their little fingers at: nintendo, platinum, sega, even kamiya, iwata and reggie (wtf dudes??). it’s the worse cuz port begging usually involves “begging” -not insulting, rage, boycott, or throwing tantrum with all caps on every social media available

i’m not a supporter of anything, but i think it’s time the “next-generation of gamers” grow up a bit

Hope it’s a good game and sells well.

“Losing out” on a bunch of first-person shooters, is that what you call it?

I am pretty sure Nintendo fans are the ones getting the better deal here, lol.

You can keep your worthless shooter games with 13 year old little bro dudes screaming at the top of their pre-pubescent lungs saying every cuss word in the book.
