Minecraft 1.8 update release date reiterated

If you are looking for the latest Minecraft PC news, you will have no doubt seen Mojang’s big update regarding the status of the highly anticipated Minecraft 1.8 update release date.

Mojang has been building up to this release for months, with several new Minecraft Snapshots along the way all in order to provide fans with a gradual glimpse of what the full Minecraft 1.8 patch will entail once it is unleashed.

Now, we can bring you some great news direct from Mojang’s website regarding the 1.8 update. They have just launched Minecraft 1.8 Pre-release 2 – The Bountiful Update, which once again fixes a vast amount of bug fixes that will hopefully improve your game.

More importantly though, Mojang has also revealed that the Minecraft 1.8 release date should go live on Tuesday, September 2 via the launcher. Through their website you can also read through all of the new Minecraft 1.8 features which Mojang has already generously provided.

They include things such as new Granite, Andesite, and Diorite stone blocks with smooth versions and also a brand new spectator mode to play around with.
