Another GTA V update has arrived with GTA V 1.16, but it’s another update that brings us further away from the now fabled GTA V Heists release date which is now turning into something of a joke.
For Rockstar to take so long on a piece of content that was promised a year ago, many gamers have decided that enough is enough and have stopped playing the game altogether. We all love these free smaller pieces of DLC that Rockstar are offering such as the Flight School update, but it’s no Heists and doesn’t take away from the fact that this content was promised during the period in which gamers were deciding whether GTA V was worth a $60 purchase or not.
Skip forward to today though and our thoughts on there being perhaps one feature that could only entice gamers back to GTA Online. Everyone wants to see Heists, but we think that everyone would jump at the chance to play GTA V Zombie DLC as well.
We recently told you that zombie content within GTA V has already been spotted within existing GTA V source code – the same source code that has been used to correctly reveal the Flight School update vehicles and prices before Rockstar themselves made it official.
Now, we can see that the Official PlayStation Magazine October issue is going to be featuring some very interesting material involving zombies and GTA V. Is this going to allude to the zombie source code details which we already know about, or do they have some inside information that is exclusive to the magazine given that they are Sony’s official PlayStation magazine?
Check out a screenshot showing the cover for yourself – it’s very interesting you have to say. They are obviously a very credible source and why would they go to the effort of namedropping GTA V on a zombie themed issue without good reason.
Note that they have also highlighted GTA V as ‘Grand Theft Auto V?!’, suggesting that they are as surprised as everyone else – very sneaky to get readers to put their money down to find out what it means.
Like future issues of GameInformer, we expect to find out what these zombie clues mean before October anyway. Remember that GTA V for PS4, Xbox One and PC is due out this Fall, while Rockstar are yet to offer a single piece of GTA V story DLC – so something has to give soon.
The zombie clues for GTA V are mounting so let us know your theories so far. Should Rockstar simply follow the same formula as Red Dead Redemption with regards to Undead Nightmare for a win win situation?
