COD Advanced Warfare Atlas Pro Edition disclosed

We have some great COD news to bring you now, as Activision has just taken the lid off the upcoming COD Advanced Warfare special editions. We now know that the premium version is going to be called the COD Advanced Warfare Atlas Pro Edition, but you may be surprised to hear that it doesn’t come with any ‘real-life’ goodie.

As most of you know, Infinity Ward or Treyarch have been known for giving fans ‘Prestige’ editions of their COD titles respectively, but this year there will not be a COD Advanced Warfare Prestige Edition.

Instead the Atlas Pro Edition will be available and we now have the full details to share with you. First of all, you’ll need to know that it costs $120. Unlike other premium editions of Call of Duty though, this version will include a full COD Advanced Warfare Season Pass with the package.

This means that you get $50 worth split between four future DLC map packs, which isn’t bad at all. On top of this, you’ll get the official soundtrack, a steelbook with artwork, Five in-game Bonus Supply Drops, an Advanced soldier manual and player card.

The more desirable items are the Gorge bonus multiplayer map, Atlas digital content pack, two bonus weapons, a custom Atlas exoskeleton and helmet, and also an exoskeleton upgrade token for single-player mode.

It’s a lot of content actually and you can read full details of it through the GameStop listing here which has just gone live recently. There will be some who are disappointed that there’s no figurine, hat or similar items, but the Season Pass inclusion should make up for it.

Lucky there is no real goodies as this is the first CoD I will be skipping since WaW. I already have Destiny as a sci-fi shooter – and I don’t need another. Hopefully, they will go back to a “real world” shooter in 2015. When I first saw the picture above, I thought they were offering a model of that AR pictured…and as I normally get the Prestige Edition, I would have been in two minds…
