GTA V trailer 2 for PS4, Xbox One, PC rumors

By Alan Ng - Jul 24, 2014

We have seen Rockstar unveil the first GTA V trailer for next-gen platforms, but rumors have spread this week suggesting that we could be about to witness GTA V trailer 2 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

It has been almost two months since we saw the amazing GTA V trailer at E3 2014, recreating the exact trailer that was used for PS3 and Xbox 360, but obviously giving it a new lease of life with next-gen graphics.

The trailer was amazing and as expected met the demands of gamers who knew that PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of GTA V were going to be well worth the wait.

This week, we bring you some very juicy information contained in the video below that talks about leaked source code for Microsoft’s Xbox Live Marketplace. Inside the video is screenshots suggesting that Microsoft has made some alteration to their Store source code, revealing that a GTA V trailer for Xbox One is about to land.

At this point, we don’t know if this relates to the upload of the original trailer aired at E3 2014, or indeed a brand new trailer that we haven’t seen before. It’s not confirmed yet of course, but we could see Rockstar do the exact same thing with trailer 2 – by recreating the entire trailer again with Stevie Wonder’s Skeletons but with next-gen visuals.

Seeing close-ups of Trevor, Michael and Franklin on PC, PS4 and Xbox One would be a sight to behold so let’s hope that this rumor has some strength to it. Are you looking forward to seeing the next GTA V trailer on PC and next-gen platforms? Watch the original again below to refresh your memory and give us your thoughts on this.

  • It should be about the games

I played through this game multiple times. Rockstar have, yet again, shown their absolute domination in story telling and character design. Whilst the actual game play of GTA games hasn’t really ever changed or improved over the years, their understanding of creating a living, breathing world has and I can’t wait to play through it again. No one, looking at you Ubisoft, does it better.
