DIRT 4 fans offer wishlist early

By Daniel Chubb - Jul 8, 2014

Without any real confirmation, fans are talking about DIRT 4 in their thousands and what they want with personal wish lists. The official Codemasters forums have a number of good threads on desired features for DIRT 4, and this page is one of our favorites with one fan offering up their desires for the next DIRT racing game likely on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and possibly older consoles.

This particular fan wants to see a really detailed and immersive interior view of cars, the same physics being kept, all the rally events, lots more cars and tracks, more varied weather conditions, more Rally focus, and they want Gymkhana (seen in DIRT 3) moved to a separate mode in DIRT 4.

One of the longest DIRT 4 wish lists online can be found on wikia.com, which is thanks to users being able to share their ideas easily. This also leads to a lot more ideas than some people might want to read, so feel free to share yours below in our comments.

What is your DIRT 4 wishlist? Personally, we feel DIRT3 was the best game from the franchise and hope the next incarnation is even better, especially on PS4 and Xbox One. Take a look at the pages above for diverse ideas, then share yours.

The whole WRC season, including 2014 cars and maybe a variety of WRC cars between Dirt 3 and 4 (liveries).
Also for each round of the WRC 2014 a lot of different stages, so not one basic stage which will be called stage 1, than in the middle of the stage a road to the left with some bends which they call stage 2 and a road to the right which they call stage 3 and all of this in the oppisite direction, to be called, exactly, stages 4, 5 and 6. No I like to see stages that are all totally different from each other.

Also I like to see a car class of 2.0L cars like the Ford Focus 06-09, Citroën C4 WRC, Mitsubishi Lancer WRC ’05, Skoda Fabia WRC, Peugeot 307 WRC and so on.
A bit older class like the Ford Focus ’99-’05, Citroën Xsara WRC, Seat Cordoba WRC, Hyundai Accent WRC, Peugeot 206 WRC and so on and of course the Group B cars and older cars.

So in a nutshell, the 2014 WRC season rounds, with lots of stages per round and enough classes with enough cars and maybe some super special stages (one against one).
Also some stages of earlier rally’s like Greece, Turkey, Jordan, Norway…
And the Rallycross category also included.
Further classes can be wiped out of Dirt 4, just pure WRC and Rallycross fun, nothing else is needed in my eyes!!
