The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is already shaping up to be one of the highlights of 2015. We can’t wait for the game from CD Projekt Red and now it seems that high demand has already forced Witcher 3 Collector’s Edition stock to be short supply.
The game doesn’t release until 2015, but it looks like gamers can’t get enough of The Witcher 3 already. The Collector’s Edition is an expensive package costing over £100 and $100 but that hasn’t deterred gamers from rushing to secure their copy.
The Collector’s Edition comes with some luxurious goodies as you can expect for the higher fee, the most exciting of which is a 33x24x25 cm, 100% hand painted, Polystone figure of Geralt of Rivia battling a Griffin.
We also love video game music and if you buy the Collector’s Edition you’ll get the full soundtrack included, with the music coming courtesy of composer Gene Rozenberg.
The game’s publisher in Europe is Namco Bandai games and they have sent out an early warning that Collector’s Edition copies may be in short supply. There’s no word of similar comments by Warner Bros who will publish in the US, but it’s safe to say that you should order now to avoid disappointment in the buildup to launch.
