Battlefield Bad Company 3 reasons to make

How do you feel about Battlefield Hardline being the next game to release this year after Battlefield 4? While we are loving the fresh look and approach to the game with police warfare, it seems that a good group of Battlefield fans wanted to see Battlefield Bad Company 3 instead.

Bad Company 3 has now become something of a myth it seems, with it looking likely that we may not see the game for many years. Battlefield 5 will be expected to come out in 2015 of course, meaning that 2016 could be the moment when Bad Company 3 could finally release.

Even then, DICE has actually got to have a good reason to build the game of course. The company boss Karl-Magnus Troedsson is aware of the persistent demands for Bad Company 3 and he has spoke in a recent interview with Eurogamer on the challenges on possibly making the game.

To pick out one interesting quote in particular:

“Why are you building Hardline? You should build Bad Company 3 instead”, people ask him. “It’s scary to go back and try to remake an old fan favourite when actually no-one can really put their finger on what it is people love. It’s going to come down to, if people really want it and if a team inside my group really wants to build it, then sure.”

He made a good point in a way, in trying to locate the exact aspect of Bad Company that makes it such a hit with fans. For us, it wasn’t the element of humor that we don’t see in traditional Battlefield games – it was the Bad Company multiplayer maps which were perfect in BFBC2.

The unlock system was also excellent and arguably even more enjoyable than the unlock system in Battlefield 4. In our opinion, it looks like the conclusion to take out of this is the fact that gamers need to speak up more if they want to see Bad Company 3 built.
