Doom 4 vs. Fallout 4 for Bethesda E3 PS4 game

- May 27, 2014

It is pretty interesting when a page lands on Amazon stating Bethesda E3 2014 Dummy ASIN PS4 with a placeholder date, but then gets quickly taken down with no reason given for its appearance in the first place. You can see a screenshot of that page below and since its appearance we’ve seen gamers talking about both Doom 4 and Fallout 4.

Firstly, Pete Hines pretty much made it clear that Fallout 4 won’t be confirmed for “a long time”, whatever a long time means, so we might as well count that game out if this leak is anything solid. Another game they’re publishing seems a lot more logical for E3 2014.

If Bethesda talk about a game at E3, it will be Doom 4 – Just over a year ago we heard that Doom 4 was stuck in “development hell” and had been completely restarted back in 2011. In February 2014, Bethesda confirmed that Doom 4 beta access will be given to those that pre-order Wolfenstein: The New Order.

Doom 4 is being developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. Considering the beta access via Wolfenstein, it makes sense for Doom 4 to see a release date within the next year and a reveal at E3 2014. If this is the case, will you be happy to finally get some Doom 4 insight? Another game we know a lot of fans want confirmed is Half Life 3.

Guys, face it. Fallout 4 is never happening! Bethesda said New Vegas was the last one. Fallout New Vegas SUCKED so much, no one even liked it

Wouldn’t they save the Doom 4 reveal for Quakecon? Especially since it’s coming a month early this year? As “Poland Spring” said, it’s probably the console port of ES:O.

    It’s just Elder Scrolls Online.
