Mass Effect 4 video recaps release rumors

- May 19, 2014

If you want to take a good look at all the latest Mass Effect 4 rumors, a possible release date window, and a recap of everything revealed so far, then the video below this article is just for you.

Uploaded to YouTube today, by Eurogamer, the 8-minute video found below this article pulls together a number of tweets from official sources and provides plenty of gameplay from the previous Mass Effect game.

Some key points taken from the video reveal that Mass Effect 4 will likely have a release date in October 2015, which is exactly one year after BioWare’s Dragon Age: Inquisition is due to be released. The name of the game is unlikely to be named “Mass Effect 4”, and will most likely be Mass Effect: SOMETHING like the way Dragon Age’s Inquisition is named.

The story will star fresh characters and won’t be a continuation of the Mass Effect 3 story, but it will be the same type of game. The video below also highlights the fact that a playable version of the game has been demoed to bosses already, and tweets about this were detailed in the video.

In a nutshell, whatever news is currently known about Mass Effect 4 should feature in this video, so take a look and leave a comment on what you want to see with the next Mass Effect. You can also keep up with our coverage of ME4 via our hub page.
