Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS is shaping up to be the best Smash Bros game in history and is easily going to be well worth the wait. This week we had a massive Smash Bros Wii U news update, specifically devoted to the Pokemon X and Y Smash Bros partnership.
As most of you had expected, we can confirm that Pokemon X and Y is going to play a big part in the next Smash Bros game. Nintendo has confirmed that Super Smash Bros on Wii U and 3DS will feature many new Pokemon from X and Y, but also new Pokemon stages and a new type of Poke ball too.
We now have the Smash Bros Wii U Pokemon list for you so far, with Nintendo revealing many new Pokemon that will be featured inside the popular Poke Ball items in the game. We already told you about Charizard and Greninja as playable characters, but now we bring you the most up to date list on which other Pokemon will be featured.
Although we haven’t heard too many details on this, it also looks like Smash Bros will feature the rare Pokemon Mew as well. We also know that there will be the addition of Master Balls in Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS, and they will contain legendary and rare Pokemon.
The list of Pokemon that have been confirmed for the new game so far are as follows:

Pokemon inside Master balls:
So there we have it. It’s not the final list remember and some of these Pokemon will appear in the 3DS version exclusively as well. There’s some very interesting choices as you can see, especially Xerneas which was teased last year by Masahiro Sakurai himself.
Hopefully we’ll get some more information on Mew appearing in the game, but at the moment there is no information on a potential Smash Bros Wii U Mewtwo appearance – which is what most of you are dying to see.
Give us your thoughts on this list so far. Are they good choices in your opinion, or did you expect to see some other choices. For example, if Xerneas is there, why not Yveltal as well?
