When the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge was unveiled during the Geneva Motor Show last week it gave us a taste of what a Q50 would be like if it were powered by a 500 horsepower GT-R engine. However, for those who would like something far more practical, then the standard all-new Infiniti Q50 is worth considering, although there is nothing that standard about this model either.
The moment you take your first look at the Infiniti Q50 it will be enough to convince you that you need to take it out on a test drive, which you can do so by entering your details here. Even before you get to the interior of the Infiniti Q50 you are met with an exterior design that is not only smooth, but comes with beautiful curves that are not only pleasing on the eye, but serves a purpose because it is more fuel-efficient thanks to its aerodynamic design.
The Q50 is for those who liked the G37, but felt that it never embraced those of you who were younger than 50 years of age. The Q50 is packed with some of the latest technology, something that is very important for younger drivers, a lot like the all-new Audi TT in that respect.
In all, there are around 10 Q50 variants, such as the Sedan, Premium and Sports in a choice of front or all-wheel drive. As well as the Eau Rouge model above, there is also a new Infiniti Q50 hybrid model as well, ideal if you do a lot of town driving.
As for the all-new Infiniti Q50 specs these will depend on the level of trim you opt for, but we can tell you that the 3.7-liter engine will pack 328 horsepower, and the 3.5-liter Hybrid model will produce 302 horsepower, both are much less that the 500 horsepower Eau Rouge model.
All variants will come with a 7-speed automatic transmission and will include some much-needed safety features such as blind-spot intervention, around-view monitor, active lane control, Direct Adaptive Steering and so much more.
You can learn more about the Q50 by visiting the Infiniti website, but we can tell you that while the all-new model might lack refinement in the base model, it still has an air of sophistication and is eager to prove itself.
