Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 patience

Most of you were probably wondering like us what happened to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 announcement at MWC 2014 in Barcelona. For unknown reasons it didn’t happen, but new information has turned up suggesting that a release could still be around the cards.

You’ll remember that Samsung has three new Galaxy Tab 4 models in the pipeline, all three of which were heavily leaked in the build up to MWC – a Galaxy Tab 4 7, Galaxy Tab 4 8 and a larger Galaxy Tab 4 10.1-inch.

It looked a forgone conclusion that we would see the new tablets on stage along with the dazzling Galaxy S5 but unfortunately we and many other Samsung fans have been left somewhat disappointed.

This week though, a French website has revealed a new promotional image showing the missing tablets at the forefront.

It's still on the way, don't worry!

Hopefully this is an indication that an announcement is coming soon and the assurance that consumers are after if you were already looking to put in a pre-order after MWC 2014.

Remember that when they do arrive, all three will be running on quad-core Snapdragon 800 processors, which is a significant upgrade from the dual-core based Galaxy Tab 3 lineup. You can find out more about likely Galaxy Tab 4 specs in our previous article here.

Is this a tablet that you are now thinking of getting compared to the expensive Galaxy Note Pro 12.2? Let us know your thoughts on why we didn’t see an announcement at MWC.
