Diablo 3 patch update 2.0.1 now live

By Matt Tran - Feb 26, 2014

New patch update 2.0.1 for Diablo 3 is now live, Blizzard started rolling out the fix earlier this morning and it should be available to download. The patch is available in the Americas first and will make its way to Europe and Asia in due course.

The Diablo 3 update brings a number of added improvements as well as software patches. Blizzard has confirmed that players will not be prompted to download 2.0.1 until they have made it available in certain home regions, therefore players outside of the US do not need to search for it at the moment.

New in game features have been added such as the Pool of Reflections and Nephalem Glory, the Diablo 3 bosses have also had their mechanics revisited and returned. You can read about all of the new content and patches Blizzard has brought with the new update here.

Players in Europe or Asia waiting for update 2.0.1 on either Xbox 360, PS3 or PC should check for release updates on the Diablo blog, hopefully it will arrive soon.
