Nexus 10 looming at CES 2014

It has been a long and painful wait for the Nexus 10 2 release date. Consumers initially thought it would be coming during the 2013 Holiday Season, but it came and went without any news whatsoever from Google. With CES 2014 now upon us though, are we just hours away from Google finally putting everyone out of their misery?

New whispers are starting to emerge, suggesting that Google are finally ready to show the Nexus 10 2 at CES in Las Vegas, a tablet that is now looking almost certain to be built once again by Samsung – taking over the Nexus reigns from LG in the process.

Now, leak specialists Digitimes have chimed into the Nexus 10 2 release saga, by stating it as fact that Google will show up in Las Vegas, alongside Samsung, to unveil the new Nexus 10 tablet after the original model.

The same source even goes as far to say that the new Nexus 10 specs will include a 2K display that is built using AMOLED materials. Other areas of the device remain unknown, but obviously we should be expecting to see a quad-core or Octa-core chip, 3GB of RAM and the latest version of Android 4.4 Kitkat.

We have just hours to go until Samsung and Google take centre stage at CES 2014. Let us know your last minute expectations for the Nexus 10 2 – are you ready to drop money on this as soon as it is confirmed, or have you given up hope out of frustration?
